The bare white paper wouldn't look too bad to depict the tumbling foam, but doing it that way leaves that area looking just too 'bare'. So I put a tinted gradation in, putting a delicate blue shade on the area, leaving just the lower lip of the foam as pure white paper. (This one also may not be very visible from your viewpoint ...)
